These terms govern your use of Saath at https://saath.space. By creating an account you accept them. Saath is Saath, operated as a sole proprietorship.
Saath helps a family record its people and the occasions it observes: a family tree, a shared calendar drawn from your own lineage and community rather than a generic list, and a timeline. Some of what the catalogue shows is drawn from reference material about Hindu practice. It is offered as a starting point for your family to adapt, not as religious authority, and it may be incomplete or wrong for your family. Your family’s own record always takes precedence.
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that inbox. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in India. If you add a person who is a minor, you confirm you have the standing within your family to record their details — see the Privacy Policy.
Reading the occasion catalogue, building your family tree, adding each person’s profile photograph, date of birth, birthplace and current place, inviting relatives and controlling who can see which branch are free, and are intended to stay free.
Payment buys coverage: a quota of relatives whose heritage details — voice notes, story photographs and dates of passing or marriage — you can add and edit. You choose which relatives a purchase covers. Coverage is counted per relative, not per household or per account, and separate purchases add together rather than replacing one another.
A relative you have not covered still appears on your tree and is still readable. Coverage governs whether their heritage details can be edited, never whether the person can be recorded.
Prices are shown before you pay and all prices shown include gst. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not receive or store your card details. The amount charged and the coverage granted are both determined by our server at the time of purchase — not by anything sent from your browser.
A coverage plan lasts twelve months from the day you buy it. Top-up packs and the single-relative plan are bought once and do not expire.
There is no auto-renewal and no standing instruction on your card or bank account. Nothing on Saath will charge you again without a fresh purchase you make yourself. We will email you before a plan’s twelve months are up.
If a plan is not renewed, everything you have already recorded stays and stays readable. What pauses is adding new details and covering new relatives.
Discount codes, where offered, apply only as stated at the time and may be limited to particular purchases or to one use per family.
Refunds are governed by the Refunds & Cancellation policy. In short: a full refund is available within 7 days of purchase provided no coverage slot from that purchase has been allocated to a relative.
The names, dates, photographs, voice notes and notes your family adds remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store that material, show it to the people in your family whom you have permitted to see it, and operate the service. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train models.
You are responsible for what you record about other people. Do not upload material you have no right to share, and respect the wishes of relatives who do not want their details recorded.
Do not attempt to reach another family’s records, probe or bypass the visibility controls, disrupt the service, or use Saath to harass anyone. We may suspend an account that does.
Saath is provided as it stands. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and features may change as the product develops. If we make a change that materially reduces something you have paid for, we will say so.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Saath is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under applicable consumer protection law.
You may stop using Saath at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to ss.bhanots@gmail.com. Because a family tree is shared, deleting your account does not by itself remove records other members of your family have added or rely on; the Privacy Policy explains what is removed and what remains.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of India.
